You were my life
My every breath was for you
I lived each day by your side
always staying true
Your smile was my joy
and your sorrows were my tears
I felt your every emotion
While we were together all these years
Even through rocky times,
we've stayed strong
I thought it was meant to be
You said that we belonged
Well, I guess my pain
is the thanks I get
But you leaving me
Will be your biggest regret
I don't care if you miss me
I don't care if you cry
I don't ever want you coming back
I couldn't care less if you died
You're a memory of my yesteryear
torturing my soul
I have given you everything
you selfish as*hole

Even though "The thanks I get" is my least favorite UFK song, I am not only extremily impressed that someone dared to do this option, you did a mighty fine job of portraying the song. I even like the way you used a random lyric from the original song here and there throughout the piece. Great job!
