Cloud gazing

I went outside to start my cloud gazing,
and what I saw was truly amazing
Animals of every sort, soon appeared,
wait...... does that elephant now have a beard?

Sitting on the grass watching all day long,
chores still need to be done, yet I prolong
Looking up to the sky once more I see,
the awesome world my saviour made for me.

I would like to thank my Father above,
for making the world out of so much love!

Author notes

Well tim (sharcu) and i were talking one day and he told me i should write a poem about clouds. So i decided i would try. I started it out, buton thet day i started there were no clouds out at all!! so i decided to try and put a spiritual aset to the poem. Hope you like it. I know its not the best, but ya here it is.

    this is wonderful! I love that you not only enjoy the beauty around us, but you gave God the praise he deserves for such a wonderful gift. I can almost see Him now, smiling down at you, saying thank you my daughter for loving me....

    Reminds me of a song called "I will Not Forget You". If you haven't heard of it, I would suggest looking for the lyrics and reading the first verse. Then you'll know why Sometimes we take things such as the clouds for granted. Wonderful poem, Kim! It's better than nothing and you haven't posted anything in a while so ya. Glad you finally got around to it. Great job!
