My Special Friend,
How is it, that you can touch my heart
Strike that cord that is unknown to many
Bring the tears, when crying is what I need
Be the comfort in this troubled world
Why is it, that you can carry me on wings
High above this world, and when I look down
Everything is small and minor
When on earth it seemed so big!
How is it, that what connects us it more then friendship
It is more like we are sisters of the heart
How is it, that all my fear are quieted
When I talk to you about them
When they seem minor, after your dissection
And fade into the wind, never to resurface in your presence
Why is it, when I talk to God, it seems
He is talking back through you
As if He sent you especially to me
But what amazes me the most,
Is the connection we feel
After all we know about each other
There is still so much to learn
But still the love remains,
The friendship grows stronger
And we are together
Sisters-of-the-heart
Together we stand, Together we fall, Together we rise up again…

This poem was very heartwarming. It sounds like you have a friend you should never lose, even if things get difficult, definitely just work it out. There's a lot of love here, and I appreciate a positive, spiritual poem like this one when it comes along. -

That really reminded me of my best friend...We've been friends for so long that we're practically sisters. Yet, despite how long we've known each other, we're constantly learning new things about one another, something we wouldn't be able to do if we weren't so comfortable talking to each other about whatever's on our minds.
