An angel walks, all dressed in white
Though deep inside, his soul is black
And off in the distance, a fair girl he sees.
He beckons to her from behind the white tree.
He longs to fill her heart with lust
And feed her passions, dark as night
To hold her until she can no longer breathe
To colour her in the shade of his impurity.
His arms around her waist, they dance together
Their bodies melting into one
In a glorious blaze of fire and ice
Corrupting grace with the touch of his hand.
He consumes her in passionate kisses
Until her pale face is flushed with desire.
Gentle moans of ecstasy escape her lips
As red gashes appear on his alabaster skin.
He is smooth and chiseled, the work of a god
His lips caressing her every curve
Showing her love, his passion unbridled
Dark and sadistic, in it's purest form.
Fierce and unrelenting, he holds her with his eyes
Scorching her soul with his eternal fire
And delirious with desire, she craves a release
Of any kind, but still none comes.
And, bringing her closer to breaking point
He draws forth her flame and frees her ecstasy.
Her mind is blank, and she screams for God
As her angel swallows the taste of his name.
And come the morning, she awakens, alone
Wondering whether or not she had imagined him.
But still, she feels his presence in the darkness
His eyes on her as she stands, alone.
She longs for his touch, his fervent embrace
But she knows that, beneath the white tree
They will meet again, under cover of night
And she will then be his once more...
Author notes
This particular poem is a strange concoction, inspired by both The Lord of the Rings and The Phantom of the Opera. Don't know how it came about, but it was fun to write!
