Do you choose to remember????

Do you choose to remember 9/11
All those people who went to heaven,
Well I do and I'll say it proudly
For those buildings fell loudly

Not the one you call, but the event back then,
You all remember it, it changed every one in small ways
It is almost 5 years later this is my respect to them
By them i mean the fireman and police men who willingly gave every thing to enter.

The devastation of the ones inside
What was going threw their heads as they died,
Their families shall always remember do you?
I ask you this cause its not so far from home this is true.

By statistics every one knows some one who lost a loved one on this day
For that reason this event has helped me change for the better,
I remember this day as the buildings decay
The place called ground Zero.

Somehow there should be more done in their memory
I write this in their honer,
In honer to the ones who died there,
But in tribute to the few who survived

I choose to remember, But the question is
Do you??

Author notes

This was in HONNOR of all the people who died in 9/11, But also a tirbute to the few who lived

    excellent presentation

What a wonderful tribute you have written here. I am so glad to see that you have reminded us all of that terrible day, when so many died. We should never forget the fire fighters, policemen, etc. who risked their lives, and some gave their lives on that day.
    Great write!
