Monotonous and mundane
Everyday is a strain
No ability to enjoy life
Endless display of strife
Since I am an adult
This is just an insult
that you can boss me around
Like you are something renowned
But alas you are the parent and I am the child
A situation that is quite wild
I am more powerful and more agile
and by all means I'm not saying you're fragile
I feel that at my stature you have no say
And you bossing me about is a bit cliche
I am smarter, quicker, bigger, and stronger
so we shouldn't have this conversation any longer

Very Well done!
Great structure and flow. I can feel your emotion, your incredulity at the situation comes across clear, which can be hard to do with a written peice. What I like most is how intelligently you get your point across, you're not whining, you're not having a tantrum with words you are simply displaying your emotions. Straight-forwad and to the point.

i know how you feel, i just turned 22 and im supposed to be getting married to a marine and already the military is controlling our wedding and weather he can even marry me, my parents are divorced and theyre pulling me in two directions and both are trying to control my wedding so much to the point i cant even have one anymore, it tears me up inside bc i fight back with both of them and its like no one even hears me, we keep fighting about the same thing over and over and it just gets us no where. it kills me im an adult and i feel like a damn 4 year old. i cant believe i can be incharge of my life so much yet in so many damn ways they still try to manipulate it, they hate im marrying him they hate im moving to north carolina with him they hate that im not doing the wedding the way they want it and they dont want the other one doing it either bc then im choosing sides.. its ridiculous.. ough..
