It covers everything,
They say
The rabbits and the Cheshire
Cats.
One day, when I was
[Way to young to know the difference
Between satire
And cartoon]
Watching
Alice on our small tv
I realised that I wanted to be
Her
When I grew up.
Now I am too old to
Like things like that, say
The teachers and the
Peers they shake me
From my daydream
And tell me that Alice
Is fake and that
My parents really did die last year.
I like
Alice's world
So very much
Much better
Than facing the truth.
I love being five.
