My Temptress, you lathe resting on your silken sheets,
Adorned upon your seductive cradle like the only jewel in a crown of
thorns.
I cast away my wicked soul, and curl myself at the altar of your
feet.
You are my salvation, a goddess surely sent in spite to torment me.
A forbidden fruit, cursing me, that my gaze may never see
perfection again.
Venus Ascended is surely your star.
I am damned by this irresistible passion beyond reason to belong to
you.
Chain me to the wall of your infernal desire,
Inflict each one lying dormant within you onto the canvass of my
body.
Your beauty is as enchanting as it is terrible to my freedom;
Touched by your Angel Grace, I will never be the same again.
You haunt my dreams, a sirens call whispering my name and summoning
me near.
My Fatal Addiction, I'll never realize how lost I am becoming until
I have forgotten my way home.
You are the rainy day that waters the flowers of my soul.
If only the last of your defenses would crumble at the first kiss.
Then tomorrow I would have you would rise and sing, and never want
for anything.
To facilitate this craving that I could possess you for a single
moment once in a passionate embrace as how I offer you myself for
eternity
I am omitted in the labyrinth of your curves, inhaling the scent of
your perfume.
I am intoxicated and as such, dead to all else in this world.
You are the one thing that makes me feel absolution; I feel my
sanctuary in your eyes.
And sense my undoing with that first taste of your lips.
I am praying, let my be your reflection, let me be your shadow.
I can be your perfect twin, your second skin.
Exiled to the cold without your touch, will you let me in?

WWWOOOOOOO!!!! This, starting with the silken sheets, reminds me of the other one, but like you say is also completely different!! Great emotion and descriptions here - I like it so much that you will now be added to my favs!

Wow, quite passionate and I like the flowing style of your writing. The set-up is effective too. I thought this was beautiful:
"You are the rainy day that waters the flowers of my soul."
And the end was powerful. I would only suggest also adding this to the "Adult" category, as it contains themes that could be "offensive" to younger readers... Just a suggestion...

This just blew me away. I agree with Epsilina as far as the word choice. You have incredible talent and should keep the ink flowing. Great work.

Your word choice is amazing, it makes the poem so much more meaninful and powerful. It was great, I liked it a lot, despite the lenth (I normally can't pay attention very long).
