The bell tolls on every moment, every scene,
Someone somewhere, watches every single frame,
But by now they're silent, still, catatonic,
So absorbed in the death of minutes are they,
Lost in a film real reality of past moments,
For they've forgotten why they started at all,
Inevitability crushed their resolve,
broke their will and smudged their persona,
It's not all harsh they witness everything,
Even their own death, must have been hard,
Do they still hear the bell toll?
I do but I take not notice,
Does this make me a wise man?
Or just another sheep in the flock,
Nay I was a wolf born in their midst,
At least until I earned my wings,
But they atrophied and fell off,
I preferred my feet upon the ground,
Do you know the 'one' who looked to high,
Shining sun reached down and took their eyes,
Now they swear they hear a bell,
I can, can you?

An interesting twist of darkness to light. Thoughtful depth of imagery unveiling that pulse of reality - the pale truth we discover and then bury with each breath. Abstract and provoking piece of thought. And.. if we listen very hard, the truth will come to us at last.. Thank you for your entry!

Good write here
What is war but a seed planted and left unatended to gow into a gang then a crowd then a nation . We must beware of the seeds planted to save our young from such a loss at our own hands let not a country fall thus it shall drg others down within its wake
