Looks

I was no one.
My skin was bad,
my hair was frizzy,
I was plump,
I had no friends.
I was no one.

But then I changed,
as if overnight.
My skin was clear,
my hair was shiny,
I was tall and toned,
I was popular,
I was someone.

Now people cared.

This is kind of a sad piece, showing just how stupid people are... and how they can't look past looks... I'm surprised how many disgusted glances I get just when going through a grocery store all in black. It's ridiculous.

Society is bad.Ugliness lies in the eyes of the beast and beauty is nothing but a tabular feast.A buffet of sorts..u neednt be beautiful by nature but you need to be naturally beautiful...u said this so well and perfectly..well done Shubs

This was difficult to read. Brought back memories of days long ago. However, remember you were always someone..it was only the shallow who did not see your beauty. There is an old saying..To the world you may be noone but to someone you are the world. Have found this to be very true. Stand tall and proud..of the one you are now..but also of the one you once were. Nice write...Dawn
