Dropping of the deep
Slowly falling down
With nothing to catch you
No one around,
But the one you love,
Should be there for everything
Yet they seem to understand as much as they wish
How can this be?
How do you make one understand
No one can
Going deeper you begin to drown
No air around except that which is dark
Unknown things coming from the shadows
Unknown feelings spring forth
Fear, envelops your heart
How to understand?
When the one you love doesnt?
Im drowning in my own sorrow
Not because i can not speak
But because no one wishes to listen
Not the person who should
how is this possible
How to make it so?
No one knows
To listen, is to talk,
Yet when you talk you listen
But to do one with out the other lacks true,
Understanding
How to get rid of these holes
That keep growing
No feelings faulter
Still you love on, for now and ever
Yet how do you?
when they wont listen
When they dont understand...
Help is what one wants
Help is what one needs
But the only one who can,
Doesnt know they can,
Or chooses this is mediocore
The greatest harm can result from the best intentions.
Not many understand this
but to those who do help others learn
Speak not the meaning but help....

Wonderful. This is sad, it filled up my heart. It seemed to be spread out, as if i was floating somewhere and the poem was watching me, documenting me. This is very sad.. I had tears in my eyes.

Sorry but this is the most personal that i can allow to post for others. As it says in my web page i am a marine but to me i wish not to convey death rather than emotion through a poem, and this be the choice enjoy or not but thank you for allowing a Marine to Enter.

heartfelt and sad
I love the last line in your poem. It is such a wise determination and compassionate response to an obviously confusing circumstance. I like how you have drawn a conclusion in your questioning. Nice job and sad poem.
