What do I see when looking deep into your eyes?
A glimmer, a sparkle, a glow like stars in the sky?
A friend who has a true love with open arms.
Carefree and trustworthy, blessed by such caring charms.
A friendship so everlasting, heartfelt and true.
When I'm with you, embraced with arms open wide.
Honoured by your loving care, with you by my side.
We have a bond so true,I see in your eyes the worry.
Through the love, laughter, and tears, never in a hurry.
The love we share is an eternal treasure.
When times are rough, your open arms, I want to be.
You are my true very best friend, anyone can see.
A love that no one can even challenge to compare.
Any topic under the sun, we can easily share.
Meeting you someday will be a wish worth granting.
The best thing is talking freely about anything.
Cherishing your voice, when upon the mic, to me you sing.
Chatting; my night, your day, with open arms deep in thought.
An eternal friendship gained, love built, a blessing brought.

He has been there thru my good days and not so good days even when i have my dreadful migraines and i have been there for him during his good days and not so good days inhis hard-knocked challenges in life . our friendship is eternally cherished equally by both of us even being an ocean divided. There is nothing we can't discuss. We are very much similar in wants and needs of hoping each other happiness and love and wondrous cheer.he has his family and i have mine and we are there for each other thru thick & thin; love and lost.My life would feel sooooo empty if he wasnt in my life since we met just as he would feel the same lost and empty feelings. Friendship - eternal bonds of love - wonderful addition to the many entries for this contest. It's the type of stuff I've been looking for. I was just musing the other evening and wondering about guys and girls and the difference therein regarding best friends. How many guys do you know that don't spend time with their best friends when they involved in a relationship?? I can't tell ya how many friends I have had that out of the blue I hear from them because their latest relationship blew up. I have a few that aren't like that but girls tend to do this so much more than guys... Sorry for my ranting, dear. I do hope you are among those that know boy/girlfriends come and go but true friendships are forever - give them that order and place in your life and you won't be sorry. Thank you so much for entering.

I kinda got the feeling that this was a child writing to a mentor of some kind. It was sweet but in a very sing-songy-way.......But if that was intended, perhaps I'm just a little jaded...if so, then yes, innocence and love can still exist out side of my sucpicions of age. Lovely sentiment,

My dear Lionslove, thank you for your very kind words. I cherish my dear friends heart and soul and I have a special and unique bond with my best friend for which i had written about. When one finds a friendship oh so true and everlasting as such it is cherished wholeheartedly -mind body and spirit. I am glad we too have met.
