I wished so hard on that fairy
Not just for myself
But for all of us
That the future would be brighter
[i don't believe in fairies]
We all have dreams
And as i sat between the two of you
I wanted ours to come true
[i don't believe in fairies]
We were torn apart
Then just as we started to patch things up
We were seperated again
When we rejoin
I wonder how much will have changed?
[i don't believe in fairies]
So much is wanted
Expected
So much could go wrong
But we have been through everything
No point in being naive
[i don't believe in fairies]
I wonder where that fairy went to?
If it will grant our wishes
Allow us a reward for what we lost
Convince Cupid to fire an arrow straight through us
Or did that fairy die
When i said
[i don't believe in fairies]

Very Nice...
I thought this poem was good because it beautifuly depicted the want/nedd of a hope. However false it may or may not be. Id love to read more of your poems but you unfortunately only have 3.... : )

Sometimes we wish on things that we dont even think exist because it gives us some hope. I really like this piece, especially the end verse.

Like it!
I like it! It's an interesting take on the fact that even though most people don't have a strong belief in fairies or God or whatever, in times of want & need we tend to wish on stars or pray or ask for help from fairies.
Especially love the ending. A very sweet poem.
