An Angel Awakens

An Angel Awakens

and I welcome...

your words spoken.

Accentuating my ears
like whisper upon thigh
{spreading wings of ajoite}.

Unknown, to this presence of intimacy
Blessed, as if
you breathe my breath of light.

A scholar of intellectual scribing,
reading the hieroglyphics of my heart.

Touching tenderly the tracings of my lips
blending bodies to bones
  of hands and hips.

Concrete- it bonds with beauty
and I surrender,

to the etchings

tattooed on this space

              of kindred kinds...

There's one word to describe this write: DELICATE. Penned with such careful observations and crafted beautifully... the picture also adds effect to the write, because it relates wonderfully. I felt like an angel was being sculpted throughout the poem... magnificent job.

I might just think about that dear friend..but like you at times I just have pen in hand and nothing flows. I guess I need a little more of him around huh? Maybe one day but right now I'm busy with other areas of my life. Take care of yourself dear friend..I'm off for awhile
Sending much love to all of your family and don't forget the reunion coming up

    Pure Perfect Penning!

I just had to come back and read this once again my friend, you are such a blessing, and the love you sense within another, as you bring it out and or He brings life and love out more in you, let you both breathe in the light, for I surely feel it all around me when I read your tender, loving soul. Much love Peace, and please send some more of this divine pieces my way! -sigh- You are an inspiration, pen on!

Mucho imagination in this and i like the idea of hierogliphics as they are coded to the few who know how to decode them. Whispers on thigh and lots more gave this one a refined and enriching tone.

    Like it

Oft times after reading your poetry I don't know what to say in response to how it makes me feel. Just look at what is revealed upon this "awakening". There is a subtle message in the eloquent musing. The "angel's" touch is sensuous yet almost like that of a wondrous dream. Oh! This is absolutely comely! Like something Solomon would have written for the Shulamite woman. This is breathtaking! Your poetry leaves the reader in awe.

    BRAVO!

    Much Love ♥

The line "reading the heiroglyphics of my heart" really caught my eye. It's a very well blended line (like the rest of the poem, naturally) and it made me stop and think a bit, amazing poem!

    Thought provoking

Visually beautiful. The line "Reading the hieroglyphics of my
    heart" how true...and "I surrender
    to the etchings
    tattooed on this space
    of kindred kinds."
The use of tattooed brought the
seesaw down way down, like a razorblade cutting into silk might.

This is just a beautiful, wonderful piece. I love that picture, by the way. It really compliments your words. I thought this poem was kind of....structured oddly. But that is not at all a bad thing! It's different...unique. And I like that about this piece. Great job. Thanks for sharing :-)

Wow, truly amazing...Where in the world do you come up with this awesome imagery, what you relay and display on a page, is the kind of write that the readers just want to read more and more and more...Your style, the content, the captivating flow and imagery, all make for a brilliant piece of poetry, and the heart and soul you put into your work shines through like a million suns. Bless you sweet soul, for you truly are a blessing. Big 's and es and es
