Rippling smooth hot water
Flows across my skin
Effervescent bubbles
Pop and form again~
The smell is like sweet perfume
As it fills the steamy air
Enlightening my senses
As I unburden all my cares~
A good hot steamy bubble bath
Cleanses, washes me
Lying, soaking in the water
Is right where I want to be

Bubble baths are great. I really like soaking in them too.. but right now all I have is a shower

mmmmmmm the indulgant bliss of a good deep bubble bath...I treated myself to a good deep tub and have perfected the art of sitting in it with the plug out just enough to keep the hot water tap running slow...spend many a happy hour relaxing in my bath reading...your poem took me there for a moment...thank you

Oh... I used to have one of those antique claw footed tubs... it was nice to lie back in and relax, while soaking away aches and pians and stress. A lovely write, Susan... got me missing that old tub.

I did something nice for myself this summer and put in a new bathroom for myself, complete with a spa/whirlpool tub - so I think this one is great. It is such a great thing to do , to just shut the door on all the cares from the day , light a candle and lay there soaking, with some soft music on...until the windowsylph knocks LOUDLY on the door, calling mommy!!!.....Nice escape here - for the same brief few moments= thanks!!

i would love to have a bubble bath in an antique bath sounds so nice i love bubble baths anyway, they are just so relaxing. when i've had a really bad day, i'll have a bubble bath at like 2 in the morning, and it's just so warm and nice
