Queen Quorra wore her tiara
Quipped with jewels galore.
Quite the sight, when beamed with light,
Quartz, pearls, and so much more.
Quorra set out one night,
Questing to find a band.
Quartets of the barber shop type
Quickly assembled throughout the land.
Questions flew from here to there
Quandaries of what to play.
Queen Quorra boomed with her voice,
"Quality is the only way."
Quaking, shaking, and slightly afraid,
Quietly, each group set out.
Quarter notes started to play,
Quorra's Queendom began to shout.
Quantities grew ever large,
Quickly the Royal Gardens filled up.
Quads played jazz, some easy listening,
Quelling the guests as they supped.
Quintessential men were given,
Quarters for the time they played.
Quaint was the evening, as guests were leaving,
Queen Quorra bid them good day.
Author notes
Quorra is the Itallan female name for Love.

Your hard work, thought and imagination have certainly paid off here. This is a great story penned from a difficult format. You've managed excellent flow and continuity. The little vignette plays out IN SPITE of the Q's. Well done!
Best of luck in the contest. -

The letter 'q', a difficult letter to define to as first, if this had been about 12 - 16 lines this would have been a monster of a prize to beat!! but you got there, I must say.

Thank you James, appreciate your comments.

A brilliant write Storm. Great story, great flow, and one quipped with enough Q's to satisfy your quintessential readers. Good Luck and keep writing.

Thank you Jeannie. I suupose one forgetting about the letters is a good thing, as it makes the flow a bit better. This was much harder than I thought, lol. Appreciate your comments hun, as always.
