The Earth spins around me,
my eyes are blinded from the pain,
young children growing up so fast,
old memories feel like yesterday,
I feel my existence will soon be the past.
I see celebrities my same age,
piling on the anti-ageing cream,
with wrinkles as deep as the sea,
oh please Lord don't let this be me.
Technological advances five me a migraine,
it's all so modern and I remember
when radio was God and boardgames were fun.
They say the mirror never lies,
yet I feel so unfamiliar with greying hair
and saggy skin.
My life has just flown by...

Not about me- I'm only a teenager! But my grandmother gave me a challenge of writing a poem in her shoes and how she feels in this modern world!!
