I shall remember you,
trapped in a sphere of silence,
perfect in your weird simplicity,
owning my humble present.
And yet,
Your dreams were never mine
as I was never part of them.
But we rejoiced together,
in a dual world
belonging only to us.
You fed yourself devouring your own creations,
while I was gladly starving in your arms.
You prayed for freedom,
while I was praying for you...
The flavour of your misty voice,
The untamed movements of your tip-toes,
The constant obsession for change,
You were,my love,
a wild grain of sand,
landing in the palm of a ghost.
So,wrapped in my idleness,
I tasted the glory of a surreal possession.
Was I insane to disturb your dreams
only to capture you in my chimeric reality?
Or my deceitful sanity gave you the wrong shape?
I see you now,
a silhouette that never needed to be described,
a restless cloud beyond the storm's birthplace,
a leaf stranger to any tree...
I gave you my ground
to catch roots,
but you, proudly embraced my constant enemy:
...the wind.

This was really good. I want to see the movie really bad. I heard Rachel Weisz was amazing. Anyway this was a great poem. Great write, Great job, and Good luck!!! -
There were alot of powerful lines in this poem. I have never seen the movie so maybe Im not getting the full effect but it still is a very captivating read.
My favorite part was
"You fed yourself devouring your own creations,
while I was gladly starving in your arms.
You prayed for freedom,
while I was praying for you..."
This poem was heartbreaking. Another gorgeous write.

I did not see the movie myself but you don't have to have a prerequisite to enjoy this piece. And I did...
I see you now,
a silhouette that never needed to be described,
a restless cloud beyond the storm's birthplace,
a leaf stranger to any tree...
I gave you my ground
to catch roots,
but you, proudly embraced my constant enemy:
...the wind.

Hmm... I have not seen the fiml myself yet, but I do plan on it. I would also like to see its prequel, City of God. This was a good poem. It truly was. The imagery that it portrayed was beautiful. There was only one thing that I would change about this, and that was I think a comma should go between "yourself" and "devouring" in the line: "You fed yourself devouring your own creations".
Once again, great poem.
