I am a Soldier on the Ground,
I am a Sailor on the Water,
I am a Marine in both,
I am a Coast Guardsman patrolling our borders,
I am a Airman in the sky.
I am a Serviceman,
I Serve my country with pride,
I am a Weapon of My Country,
And if the time arises,
I'd gladly give my life,
To the place I love,
The people I adore,
These Colors don't run,
Red,
White,
And Blue.
I'll follow orders,
Dot my T's and my I's,
Complete Secondary and Primary Objectives,
And save a few lives.
And in the end,
My amen is the same,
Whether it be,
Hooah,
OoRah,
Or Hooyah.

This poem is a broad Tribute to all that are in the United States Military. In all Branches. There isn't much else to say, except that I offer my great thanks.
About Me: My name Is TJ Strang, I am 15 years old. I live in Mt.Pleasant, PA. I also am a sophmore. I enjoy reading books, and activities with my Sea Scout Ship. I love anything to do with Boats.

yea. you mensoned that.... when we met i guess you can say. the miltary part
i agree with you. people blame all the small people but not the big people. like with the whole gas issues and them mistreating the gas station workers.
i guess, i'm one of those people who dislikes bush ALOT. but wants to see the military and everyone come back safely.. -
Well, Usually I'm not patriotic. But, I like the military. Prehaps it's the warrior in me, or the testosterone. Regardless, I like the military.
As to being patriotic, Everyone is patriotic in their own way, even if it is just by living here. Regardless of whether I agree with ever policy my country has. There still has to be a country for that opinon to count. That's going to sound very Red State-ish(I'm VERY Liberal), but that's my opinion.
If you have beef, talk the people making orders, not the vallient people following them. You know? I don't agree with the war in Iraq, but we are there, I would almost cry if they came back, and we're spit on like the veterans of Vietnam. It would be a tragedy.
And I would most definately agree, my favorite line is "I am a weapon of my country."
