Relax close your eyes feel the breeze,
The gale whipping around tall trees.
My mind was pondering another world,
As gray clouds waltzed, rolled, swirled.
All I hear is moisture wet sound,
Gaudy drops splashing to the ground.
Covering our countryside for many miles,
This ardent storm upon us smiles.
Mother earths’ elements surely sing,
Observing me sitting in the swing.
Taking a breath long and fresh,
Nature was now at her very best.
It’s the creator’ way to clean the sky,
Where eagles soar, and birdies fly…
Awaiting my lover while it rains,
Erotic thoughts can't be contained!
Author notes
This is about nature, and a true account of my sitting on my porch watching the storm's many times, because I love the rain and nature....

dearest ennovy,
your beautiful poem resonates very much with my heart, as I can recognize in it a childlike joy and innocence, an enthousiasm about life, nature and the beauty of being ...
I almost hear the spirit of your poem sing, dance, whistle and jump like a little girl who jumps up and down telling about a delightful adventure to her mum ...
I love joyful and light-hearted poems like this.
thank you for such a rejoicing homage to the rain-dance.
dance on, my friend, dance on ...
