Spoke free from the mind, and the lights roll
Fire burned the thoughts, and all was still
Limber and fallen, my fingers struck cold
Webs spun through the gasps, lips now silent
Demons lay awake in silience
A breath that stills me with wrath
And as the darkness surrounds me, they rise
Needles draw a string, snaking beneath my skin
My wrists seize, as the thread knots
Motionless as the thread ignights
In sleep they flow, echoing thir images through minds wanderings
The maza rises again, the sword blunt, my hands broken
I hear him behind me, footfalls heavy with his lumbering mass
A voice calls to me, begging me on
A turn to the right, and a forest of vines rolls beneath me
Berries grow over the vines, each calling my name.
Each begging for death.
His pace quickens, and I run.
My feet move with speed i've never known, and my breath flows free
A pause as I look through a window. A man stares at me with blank eyes.
His face filled with mindless hunger
Body torn from a deathless life
And the beast is upon me
I turn, facing it. My blood races.
Cold eyes of silver framed by bloated skin
his mouth small and twisted, baring hungry teeth
My hands heavy with moisture, I bring my blade across his throat
Flash shatters at the wound, and he stammers back
a horrible roar erupts from his gaping wound, and his eyes lock on mine
With a snap, his hand moves toward my face, but I bring my blade to meet
Flesh erodes further as the sword cuts deep
fist pushed back, a fresh hand bursts, catching me surprized
Pain screams through my body, and the thread tightens
My wrists fall limp, and my knees shatter
The ground approaches fast, and I strike it hard
A scream of glee erupts, and I awaken, feeling his teeth in me
Feeling his hands rip me open, and my flesh devoured
I awake to find my limbs cold, and my hands motionless
I awake slowly, and rise only to be forced to sleep again.
