A decision

One night of passion,
One small mistake,
You think you have the answer,
You 'know' the steps to take.

An incision, or syringe,
that'll do it right,
No one has to know,
Put this 'burden' from sight.

Don't you know what you've done?
Don't you see what you've lost?
Don't you care about a life?
Ripped away for such a small cost.

A million hugs,
A goodnight kiss,
A first date,
... will be missed,
A dance in the stars,
The lead in the play,
Driving at sixteen,
You've taken away.

Just one simple decision,
You thought you knew it all,
You can't see the Life you took,
Or the child who took the fall.

Author notes

Well, if you didn't get it, it was Abortion.
I don't normally do the whole rhyming thing, so I was a little rusty, but I hope you enjoyed my poem.
Happy Judging!
