Alas, the amber sky hates you, rain,
And in pensive mood I wonder why.
Hitting the high hills and the plain,
As you part the lonely, stormy sky.
Then falling to the land to tell,
What has caused the celestial strife.
The highest minds could not foretell,
When the skies will come to life.
I praise those soft carriers of thine,
That helped you escape the sky's rage.
Like fluffy candy to the eyes of mine,
They pulled you out of a deadly cage.
Hitting the land, when hymns you recite,
I see the dancing water, on the ground.
Upon this very, music an ode I write,
In utmost awe, as you make this sound.
The most beautiful spectrum ever seen,
Is your creation, of falling rain drops.
Like the colors of life, on sky's screen,
I thank you o friend of all crops.
Wings spread out, and cyan dances,
To honor you, as it sees you in flight.
Nature caught in these inviting trances,
And dancing feathers bring the light.
The leaves dance, as they take a bath,
Swaying on their branches, to and fro.
You leave the sands on the river's path,
To join the river, as it will soon flow.
But you tell me not, of thy song,
That you sing, hitting the land.
I see the rushing river take along,
Till the oceans, the lonely sand.
And why did you and the sky quarrel,
To finally choose a new, separate way.
Was it a matter of ego, or of moral,
I know not to this very, rainy day.

I believe that this is my very favourite poem I have ever read from you until now.
there is something going on in this one, I don't know exactly what it is, maybe it translates a special mood you felt while writing it and this mood is very familiar to me, and somehow connects my spirit with yours ...
you still haven't told me whose mystical poets of the olden days you are a reincarnation of !
