and above all
Love me whole heartily with the aforementioned qualities.
Not wanted:
A man who has:
blue, brown, green, or hazel eyes;
brown, blond, black, auburn, or grey hair
Who will:
Beat me up with his fists and give me blacks and blues,
hurt me with his words of hate, such as you stupid bitch,
Keep me locked in his little world-
away from my friends and family.
and above all
who will not kill me, my family or my animals.
Wanted:
Love that is so powerful - that is so strong that it stops all domestic violence...
because the home is the foundation of society.
Strong homes, strong families, build Strong societies.

I love this! It is so real and so true! It's a wonderful play on a wanted add! I love the form of it and the way you got your point across. The message is powerful and enpowering. Domestic violence is a serious problem that's scary because so many people don't know about it. Victims keep quiet because they "Love him" or their affraid, or the cops don't so anything when they do speak up. I know a woman that happened to. She was ducktapped pregnant and naked to a chair as he cut her body with a broken beer bottle and her baby was tied up next to her. The cops didn't do anything when she called them later. Its sick and it needs to stop! This was a wonderful poem, thank you for writing it!
