~~Dandelions~~

Missing image
Dandelions open up to the morning sun
a yellow  silhouette
sheltering bugs~

Wondering on the secrets
you share within the blades of grass
Yellow dots of glory
trampled on by man~

You spend your time
with flights of bumblebees
that land upon you
Growing old to music
tickling the breeze~

Ah the dandelions
forever you will stay
a tranquil protrait that announces dawn
Golden sun tufted display~

I have more respect for the yellow blooms than the white puffs--I have never tasted the wine, however... A great job with this one!!!

Sweet poem, I love dandelions too.
Most want to cut them away, but not me...

And after they are gone, that fluff, to wish on...
Sweet write, Blessings and hugs, ~ Ce

    Excellent! Lovely poem!

You have elevated the lowly dandelion with this lovely poem, Sis! Only you could do that! I love to see them in the grass..it's a shame they get mowed away and zapped with weed spray! I should live in the country where I could let everything grow to my heart's delight! Great poem, Sis! I really liked it!

    Love Ya!

(perhaps you have one too many 'to's in this sentence: Growing old to to music?)

    7.6/10

I think this would work better as a longer piece, like add a couple more stanza's. The flow and form is good, I just think it would be an even better piece longer.

    A lovely piece here.

very restful setting here. Yes I love the glow in the green grass when the blooms are full.....however my nose has another opinion.
Never had the wine yet, maybe I have to pick some of those weedy joys and make some.
