To me you were my everything,
The breath in my lungs,
The alpha of all my days,
My dreams at night,
I could never take another breath without you,
And don't know how to give you wings,
Because my scarlet blooded feathers will fail,
And I have no tears to help you fly,
But i'll give you anything I have,
If you would ever ask I would give my life,
For someone so brave,
And who gave me a little spark of joy,
So I say thankyou,
In the only way I can feel you,
See you weeping behind the doors of my eyes,
Thankyou for all the fears you shared,
And the nights you were my waterfalls of comfort,
And I wish they were enough,
Thankyou for the dreams,
Half lived and never believed in,
But still a storm cloud to hide behind,
On the most monstrous of days,
I'm sorry I gave you a hopeless me,
A useless nobody whoo had hit the ground,
I wish I could be all of everything for you,
AllI wanted was for you to save me,
But maybe it would be better now,
To free you,
THe only gift I can give is my final smile,
A solitary tear,
As I beg you to let me fall,
Away.

This person - I put so much on her - expected so much - and i'd love to give back anything - and i can't give back the smiles - the tears - the laughter this person wants - so if i could fall - then at least she'd no longer be waiting - but i can't fall - I still want to see the person - and feel the moments when life can be so randomly beautiful. Thankyou for reading, It means a lot.

Sometimes we all feel we have failed someone we love
I liked your tender poem, I'm sure some of us are destined to help others get through this life and the reward is to see others grow. -
