Dancing in the rain
Holding each other tight
Only you and me
On this clouded wet night
~
Tears from the sky to others it may seem
But not for you and me
Only a glimpse of a vivid dream
That has become reality
~
The rain of a new beginning
To wash the tears away
Warm and fulfilling
Dancing the night away
~
The sparkle and the glimmer
Of a raindrop in the sky
Like the twinkle and the shimmer
Of the love that’s in your eye
~
Although the rain is falling
There is sunshine all around
Just as the love you give
Envelopes and surrounds
~
As the rain gives growth to flowers
It sheds new light upon our love
We have to thank the powers
Sent from heaven up above
~
Sending glorious raindrops
To make our love grow strong
Giving hope and new meaning
To last our whole life long
~
For God and his angels
Are looking down from high above
Having brought us together
And showering us with their love
