I relish how much more
a common friend
inspiration has been
since the intricate Plan
engulfed us both,
and brought us close.
And it is so much more frequent
for me to write--to fight! to win!
Perhaps that explains this giant grin.
Perhaps you explain this feeling of being blessed.
But not "perhaps",
for I am certain that Jehovah had a hand
in making you the inspiration of this man!
I will miss you, dear sister.
I will miss the smile lighting your face;
I'll miss the fierce lioness in your eyes;
I'll miss your embrace, your warm embrace;
and I will miss lying on a green grass lawn
under sunsetting skies,
plucking little white dandylions
to mount them on your ear...
and I will wish you were here
to comfort and encourage;
to hold and then be held;
to brush your tears softly away,
which, in your eyes, had welled.
But... my arms are short,
and cannot reach that far
to declare how much I love you
no matter where in the world you are.
So I am grateful and I'm glad
for a God whose hands formed the skies
and so wonderfully formed you who bring
a tender glint to my eyes.
I am grateful for a God
whose hands formed the heavens,
and I am grateful that, for this daughter,
whom I love,
the love of God outreaches the love of Evan.

This was sad but one of the most beautiful pieces I have ever read. It realli touches the readers soul and brings them in to the poem.
Thanks again for your support!

haha yeah thanks
She's a godly woman, and I'm honored to know her, and extremely grateful to have the place in her life that I do.
