I know you see my silent tears
When the rose bush flowers in spring
You left me memories and the rose bush
And of course my wedding ring
The time passes so quickly
seasons come and go
I look forward to the spring
When our roses start to grow
And when the first rose blooms
Putting a smile upon my face
I gently pick the first red rose
And stand it in a vase
I look at it as a gift that
You are giving to me
It reminds me of when you proposed
And got down on one knee
But now it is summer
And when fall and winter goes
I will be getting the special vase out
To accept your sweet red rose.
Author notes

That is just beautiful! And what a truly inspiring way of looking at the rose bush blooming as a way of her now departed husband giving her a rose...and here is one for you
