Memory Book

Memory Book

Shallow breaths
Fogging my sight
The window
Blurred
You
Gone
Fragments of a summer shower
You have learned more to laugh-lines
Tears
Her make-up wouldn't hide
Hair tossed
From the wind
In your heart; the still
With the days haphazardly
You’re own device
Wondering if you
Ponder upon me
Do I have a page in your
Memory book

Soul, and ease
With all to me
My heart and I
Thinking of you
And the day you went away
Ashamed
I couldn't watch you walk away

    Wow!

Beautiful & heartffelt emotionally charged feelings that are very well expressed in the beautiful poem Steven, it's indeed a masterpiece...beyonds words that can ever do justice to the writing, but I would still like to try..Amazigly beautiful though sad...it is hardest thing to let go the one you love so unconditionally...Almost impossible & I love teh last line...I couldn't watch you walk away... It just brought memories back with tears floating in my eyes

    Sorriso, papi

IT's always hard to watch the person you hold dearest walk away. And it's always on your mind to think that they don't think of you, or remember the times you shared...but truthfully, me being a woman, we never really forget. We can't. Because we gave you a part of our heart. She wakes up everymorning, she does her routine and she stops. Sometimes, on her mind, she'll reminance about what you had, or maybe she'll be walking on the street and see something that'll remind her of you. Or...she will simply read a poem that she wrote about you and for you and remember...she misses you...she always will...even when she's old and grey...she'll have you on her mind. To this day...my grams talks about this boy she met in Italy when she was 17. She married to my grandfather, but she always wonders. Women don't forget...we just push it aside until it's brought up again...if it's not brought up...we'll remember it, even if it's for a brief moment...

    .
    Great job, pops.

This is what I called a perfect poem. Exce

To Love somebody uncontionaly is the hard thing to let go. THe memories will always be there and you can bet she wrote in her journal about you. But you can always have bittersweet moment again fill your dreams of once upon a time. For nothing really fade away, it is alway in the back in a corner of your heart and soul. Someday you will see her again. When you do. remember how it was and how she acted and see if she is different . Then your heart will know she still think of you still. There will be a tiny little flame going but when it get hotter you will know it is right for the both of you. Leting go it hard. But to keep one there just for no reason. IF they love you they will be back. But if the love was gone to heaven. Then you will feel her when you smell a certian flower or see a snowFlakes or even someone who look like her. You will never forget.
Thank you for letting me read this great work and a beautiful poem.
