Humanly Love
Our love—
a mere feeling
yet so powerful and healing
a red cloak that covers the earth
lovingly wrapping and providing warmth to those who suffer
waving and fanning those with inner fire needing a cool breeze
Given to us—
by our merciful God
to be shared and spread throughout the world
sent forth to find its way to every nook and cranny; person, heart, soul, fauna, and flora
once it is received, it multiplies in number, volume, and strength
always able to reach beyond words, understanding, time and space
An open heart—
waits for love’s dawning
receives and utilizes it to all’s highest good
allowing life to be cleansed of all impurity and ambiguity
as it continuously emerges victorious
glorifying God’s creation
