Alone

Here I am again,
All alone now.
No one to comfort me,
No one to love me.
No one to understand
What misery dwells in me.

The only comfort I have,
Is my memories.
All the memories that we share,
That we loved and laughed.
But memories can only do so much.
And without you, there are no new ones.

I am alone,
No one knows me,
The way you did.
I wish to the Angels
That you would come back.
But alas, I am still alone.

I chose the first Picture, For your misery II by TheTragicTruth Of Me. As soon as I saw that picture, I knew I wanted to do something for it.

    Such a sad poem... and a sad theme. Being alone is sad in itself. I'd much rather be in the company of others than be by myself. Nice work! Good luck in the contest and welcome to the site

    I think your words did the picture justice - I liked the way you expressed yourself through your words and gave the reader that sense of being absolutely alone that can never be easy!
