He gave his only son
so we could live without sins,
Satan wouldn't get the best of us
But even now we sin,
& he weeps.
He gave his life for us
So we could live in harmony,
but seeing what his people
have become after his greatest sacrifice,
Jesus weeps.
Look at what we have become,
& be ashamed.
War, bloodshed, & death
is what we give to our father,
he looks down in agony
for we kill his children,
& he weeps.
If you were him and saw
what his children were capable of doing,
wouldn't you feel the same?
He gave us everything we could ever want,
& we make him weep.
Look what we have done,
to our only father.
Author notes

Truth Speaks
This is a very wonderful poem and message you have written here. God is writing through you to speak His words. Love it.

An enjoyable write
An enjoyable write; nicely done; a great message; I touch upon the weeping of Christ in a poem called "Silent Tears" - perhaps you would like it.
