The day the Poet died
Has taken along ride
I couldn't write
Without no light
I couldn't think of any words
along the dea with a flock of bird
The day the poet died
Is the day that I cried
There was a river of tears
With alot of fears
No words or sounds throughout the night
I look out at the Sea
Along the twilight
Wishin things that used to be
The day the Poet died
Words of Queens and Kings didn't come alive
Feelings come out to them I confide
The day the poet died
Wout in space and stars
Walking along the beachside
I've envision something bizarre
The day the Poet died

No problem I didn't mean to applaud my own work but I meant to applaud the comment on Terry68.

I just want to Thank you for all the kind words that you said about my poetry. I never thought of Don Mclean song "Bye Bye Miss American Pie" That is a good song to remember by. I've always liked that song. If I remember right that song was about Buddy Holly. I will read some of your poems or stories sometime soon. Thanks alot.

I don't think that you repeated yourself to many times thats just how some poetry flows. Writers block really does suck and its scary when your feelings come out through your poetry and one day it all stops and you just can't write anymore. I've been through it I would just give it time and I'm sure it will come back just as fast as it was gone.

nice
my opinion...you repeated yourself to often...it was nicely constructed though..keep it up
