You left me,
So suddenly.
Not yet ready,
To walk on my own.
You gave me a world,
Full of amazement's and fears.
I was actually happy,
After all of these years,
Filled with tears and grief.
You were not just my boss,
You were my friend,
My role model,
My world.
You don't know this,
And probably will never,
But you saved me,
From myself.
Before I met you,
I hurt myself,
And hated everyone.
And felt like no one cared.
But then I met you,
And felt like I could fly.
There were new things to see,
And new people to meet.
All the while you held my hand,
And told me you were there for me.
For two years,
I had many friends,
And knew so much.
But that all ended,
So suddenly,
So fast.
And now I am left,
To forge my own path,
And try to live through hell,
Day after day.
No longer am I,
Under your protection.
No longer am I,
Happy and amazed.
Never get used to anything,
Because nothing can last.
Nothing.

Sounds as though you are going through a big change in your life. Changes are the beginning of a new path that may have something wonderful at the end of it. I recently went through a very big change in my life, and it seemed as though my whole world came crashing down on me, but I just made it through each day at a time. This too shall pass, and I don't mean that religiously. It's just a very true quote. This too shall pass, I tell myself that every time things get hard. I think you did a great job writing this and showing your feelings. Very well done.
