carefully arranged
fly out your eyes ~
soprano windows
ajar
like an orderly mess
of letters and sashes
grass strength
murmurs moon mantras
slowly through your veins
to curl like syllables
in a metaphor,
mouthful of sunrise
at dusk -
that is what we call
love
as images walk
calmly through your
red melody
exploring every meaning

100th HOODWINK !
This is like a beautiful multifaceted gem that sparkles in many different directions as it is struck by the light. You have so many vivid images sparkling in this most interesting poem, one to read and ponder. Very delightful read!
You have been selected as a victim in the 100th Hood-wink Celebration of the Poetic Bandits Group. This is our way of giving back to this wonderful poetic community, to encourage fellow poets, to acknowledge individuals who share their time and talents to make AP a better place. You contributions to AP is noted and appreciated, thank you.

This is sooo beautiful and beautifully written
It seems very heartfelt
I love the langauge.. I had to use my dictionary for a few words but I love learning. That's one of my favourite things about AP.. I learn so many new things and new words each day just by reading some poems from some amazing poets
I'm glad Nicolette loves it and appreciates it so much because it is a very beautiful poem.

"mouthful of sunrise

This is brilliant & beautiful, Diana, much like the Poet it's penned for...I adore Nicolette; she is truly my Sister of the Soul, across Time & sand, as she says...You've captured her lovely essence well, Lady...She loves it; she sent me the link...Thank you for touching her beautiful Heart this day...& for being a Friend to my Friend...Very well done...Be well, Poet...
Wanda, aka Vlindertjie (her "nic"name for me; it means "little butterfly" in Afrikaans)

I'm glad you have enjoyed this, Nicolette. I like writing for others, or even listening as you said, it's always a good feeling for both the one who's listened to and the listener

Oooo Diana...!! Now all my doves have left me...flown off into the sunsets on reading this beautiful poem and gift of friendship. Thank you so much....I have tears in my eyes, my friend. Lately I've been touched by so many wonderful people here on AP, of which you are one....always listening with a deeper ear... I don't know what to say, but thank you so very much for being who you are: A gifted poetess and a wonderful human being. I am so happy to know you and your poetry. Thank you for seeing into me and bringing light into my eyes... This is beautiful and I'll treasure this gift always.
. Thank you for your melodies too.
