I have a secret
An obsession
Some would say
Concealed
In the burning
Embers of my mind
The presence
Existence
Creates
Such a compulsion
Invokes
An array
A rainbow of emotions
Which paint my world
In a chaotic
Work of art
This Fascination
This Fixation
This Mania
Takes the
Tarnished blank canvas
Of my life
Like Picasso would
Or one of the many greats
And turns it in to
Beauty
And make
Each breath
Like the first
Makes it worth it
Makes life
This very existence
Of mine…
Earth-shatteringly
Faultless
Author notes
i used a few of the words on the list as you can tell Tarnish, Presence, Obsession, Ember, and conceal are all in the poem.

I loved the lines
"Makes life
This very existence
Of mine…
Earth-shatteringly
Faultless"
It really drew me in. Thanks for sharing this poem. -
Good job. I like the way you went about this. I'd have to say though that I feel the line "Like Picasso would, Or one of the many greats" weakens this piece but other than that I really enjoyed this. Thanks for sharing.
