My life will never be the same
born to this family, having no fame.
This mountain I call home, where I'll
remain, no friends to call my own.
People pass me by not knowing my name
they call me the dry branch drifter
even though Kyle is my name.
Traveling from house to house begging
for a few crumbs, having nothing to eat
of my own, no where to lay my head at night
If you're up on the mountain any time soon
look me up, we'll set a spell, talk about old
times, share a few laughs, for this is all I have.

Lonely!
wow you've penned lonely to perfection here my friend. It left me feeling so sad that I want to hop a plane and come keep Kyle company on that mountain top
I hope you are doing well, It's been forever since I've seen you around

As always a treat to read your work!

flows off the page to your lips
this si one very moving write. I feel such sadness in your words i went and checked your homepage. Viggo did well when he read that poem in G I Jane i know a few people who were touched by that piece. I agree this is one awesome write you have set the atmosphere captured the readers attention from the first line. More importantly you held it there to the end. Full of imagery with such a expressive descriptive emotion i can feel the pain in your words. Australia is too far for
but am so glad i dropped by for the read.
sad though i felt it was one damn fine read to feel so moved ..... means you got a point across....is that not what we want?
