The little Bird of Death

The little bird of death
Flies around with her glittering wings
So pretty yet so unnoticed
Until she’s right there on your shoulder

The little bird of death
Will whispers truths in your ear
She will never lie
For death is the ultimate truth

The little bird of death
Hops around your neck
Pulling your hair and biting your ears
As she stares at your eyes hungrily

The little bird of death
Pecks your cheek in loving kisses
She toys with your mind
As you slowly die

I think this has a strong message throughout.
However I think the second stanza seems a little different to the others.
I can't put my finger on what it is, but there's something different about it, and it's disrupting the flow of the piece.

But other than that, I like it, lots.

its because the first stanza came before any thought was placed to the poem, the others was thoughted

    I love birds. Are you familiar with the saying;

"if a wild bird flies into your house it is a sign that someone is going to die"?

'Old Wives Tale' is what it is.

Your poem isq uite visual. It allows the reader to see the bird in action. Very well written, and extremely interesting that you equate the bird with "death". Great work!

    Much Love,
    Renee

    HAH

It is ones hope that all death can be that kind to me. When that time comes, I will recite this poem, and laugh.

A very interesting write brilliantly put to the page of the raven because when I look at the back ground and imagine the bird of death I see exactly the raven beside me, I would love to see this turned into a song because one thing I know for sure
This would freakn rock, because these words your craft sings out loud, Thank you for allowing me to read and comment on your work it tis a pleasure to die with..
