First questions

Grew from a seed within your womb
You hold me now against your breast
Suckling still I feed from your body
Whilst in your arms I rest
I see much love looking down on me
Can you read my thoughts so true
And as I grow my mother
Can I depend on you

If I should fall, would you catch me

If I cry, will you dry my tears

If I run  towards your open arms

Will you hold me, and comfort my fears

Will you teach me without hesitation

Nourish  my soul with no evil in mind

For I am the seed  that was planted with love
I am in the plan
God designed.

    Precious

"Unconditional love" that's what being a mother is, right from birth they put their complete trust in us, and it's our job to uphold that faith so that they may grow into well-adjusted adults, and pass on that precious gift of love to the next generation...Thanks for sharing the babies point of view - Mareta

beautiful poem. its a nice change from all the angst in here. i can't wait until i get married and have a child of my own. i especially like the last few lines. though i'm not one with a strong reliance on a god or faith. i think its a cute means of expression
