But I'm not sure why
For they're happy but a couple days
Before they want to die
Love is unreliable
It's very plain to see
After seeing other lovers
I won't let it happen to me
They think they've arrived at heaven
But they realize soon they're wrong
When they see their lover with someone else
They know love is weak, not strong
But it's the same old story
Time and time again
They can't seem to find love
That won't ever end
There's always something wrong
They can't find "The One"
Sometimes love seems to be over
Before it's begun
They don't want to be in love
But they don't want to be alone
All that this love has given them
Is a heart of stone
You think you're in love
Until the last kiss
And then you start to wonder
What if love doesn't exist?

You think you're in love
Until the last kiss
And then you start to wonder
What if love doesn't exist?Don't scare me now
I'd rather like to think that love does exist
Though If I comment on that any further
You're just gonna tell me to look at my screen-name
anyway
I just want to tell you
That love does exist
Just not that easily
DOn't even look for it
You're gonna know right in front of you
whether its love or not
believe me
good luck in the contest :f

I like this poem, it brings up a great retorical question. it's definately something to think on. I've actually thought about that before. -ur cousin

well done poem,
although in stanza three, i don't know why you put "weaker"- shouldn't it just be "weak"?
good luck in the contest
