Paige’s New Friend
Pixie Paige was fluttering across Africa one fine day
And as she flew over the Savanna she sighted a stray
Down she flew so fast and her blue wings fluttered
And as she got near she heard a meow that it uttered
Paige flew close and said please don’t be at all afraid
As I am an Aussie blue pixie and have come to your aid
The little critter was so very cute and fuzzy and very nice
For as taking him home she did not have to think twice
So she grabbed him up by his furry little chubby butt
And flew off home with him figuring this case was shut
She got back and hid him in the small closet at home
And thought a cute name for him might be Jerome
Next morning her Mum was washing clothes so clean
Then under the dirty clothes she spotted with eyes so keen
A furry little piece of the cutest fluff she had ever known
And as she went to pick it up it let out a fearsome groan
And Mum said:” Paige what here have you done to befriend”
And Paige says shyly:"Mum that is my new furry fairy friend."
