Mommy! My Morning Dew! (For Mother’s Day)

Mommy, you’re as delicate as morning dew.
You’re the cure of any pain and woe.

You’re that unlimited ocean with pure water;
I’m just a paltry  drop, trying to join you, mother!

There are two suns shining in your eyes,
Warming this paltry dew, raising up to skies.

When I have your hand in mine, my vernal bloom,
Then I’m ready to fight any doom and gloom.

You’re an angel gifted from above
With silver wings, spreading kindness and love.

You’re the sunrise of happiness, sunset of pain.
You’re more magnificent for words, I’m trying in vain.

This Red Apple is painted for you, my goodness.
Maybe you forget my bitterness to its sweetness.

I’ll break words dam and say:
Happy happy mother’s day.

Author notes

Today is the birth of Fatemeh s.a (The daughter of our holy prophet Mohammad)and mother's day in Iran. I've composed this poem to all mothers on AP especially to my own mom.

".....When I have your hand in mine, my vernal bloom,

You’re an angel gifted from above
With silver wings, spreading kindness and love......."

Man's eternal relation with his mother is stronger than rock, and deeper than the Pacific; it is higher than the Everest and more sublime than fragrant roses.....Dear Vernalleafoo!...your wonderful and delicate poem certainly needs a spectacular applause and a stupendous admiration. Though, my pen is weak and humble and does not have strength to acknowledge the value of this great poem full of passionate red roses and white jasmines of pure love for your kind mother, even then I am trying to write some comments for this great piece. My words are meek and feeble, and your imagination is elevated and great....You look like a fresh and melodious song sung by the Seven Muses at the peak of Olympus in ancient Greece!... May God empower your pen more and more little fairy, innocent maiden!!!!! It is undoubtedly a great piece worthy of forwarding to every mother on mom's day!!!!!

This has lovely sentiments and I envy your mother for having a child this caring. Nicely rhymed. Needs some work to make it into English couplets.

This poem really beautiful, I like it heaps, but I can't really relate to the poem due to the fact that I'm just simply not that close to my mum. Anyways, keep up the good work and have a good day.
