She flutters in, an autumn breeze
Casting hues of golds and browns
And leaves swirl and twirl
As they fall to earth's ground
Trees, skimp and scanty
Still a beauty in her sight
Evening falls much faster
As she slowly draws the light
The autumn winds now whisper
As she sweeps wings through the air
The flora of the fall
Gently flows from her hair
With her cascading locks, and rustic eyes
For the time, she's come to play
It's the changing of the seasons
She is Autumn's Fae

Absolutely Wonderful
I love it. The imagery it invokes is marvelous. I like the easy flow created by using words that make it feel like it is dancing. One can truly see the subtle play of the wind through the trees. -
Thank you for commenting, I appreciate it.

It is my favorite time as well, for a few reasons. But I think he main is it is a time when all the old starts to fade away. Memories of the past, and so on, looking for the renewal spring will bring.
Thanks for the comments hun
