What my mind could do, my heart could not.

I've wanted to talk
for such a long time,
but it seems that
to you, that's a crime.

Am I even noticed?
A glance here or there?
You don't understand
that I really don't care.

We may not work out,
but i still try.
Because when I'm with you,
I no longer cry.

You make me speechless
with everything you do
I wouldn't admit it before,
but I do love you.

Something happened
and told me to stop.
What my mind could do,
my heart could not.

I've fallen down
so easily.
But even so,
I still can't breathe.

I wished so hard,
but it didn't come true,
not because of anything
you or I could do.

I've learned now
it wasn't meant to be
and I'm slowly trying
to let my heart be free.

It wouldn't work
but i wanted you.
Thankfully, my wish
didn't come true.

What could've happened
lies with us,
but its easier to try
and simply trust.
