When leaves do fall.

A gentle breeze,
of snowflaked sky,
that brings the freeze,
from darkest high.
The winter's here,
we hear it's call,
it comes each year,
when leaves do fall.

But summer still,
has long to go,
it brings the warming,
sunlit glow.
That keeps us happy,
gives it's all,
we do not smile,
when leaves do fall.

I smile when leaves fall I get a kick out of it, to say the least. I like your poem, the contrasting between the seasons is excellent.. there's obviously the indication of mother nature... but if one would look closer I could see the instances where it could be interpreted as human nature. Excellent write
