If you could only see
The pain behind my eyes
Then you would really know
What I feel
What I see
What I've become
You'd see how much I cry
You'd see every scar upon my heart
Then you would treat me different
Instead of wondering
Why I cut
Then you would know
You wouldn't have to ask
Why I'm depressed
Because you would of felt it
And you would know
I wish you could
Walk in my shoes just for one day
So you would stop asking questions
Stop pretending like you care
Like you really know whats wrong
Because you don't
I'm never going to tell you either
I will not
Pour my heart and soul
Out to you
For you won't listen
You won't care
You'll just sit there
And stare
And pretend
Like everybody else
No one cares enough to listen
To every word I speak
No cares enough
To read my body language
Not even my own parents
When I sit there
With my head on my knees
Crying silent tears
They don't ask whats wrong
They just walk right by
Like I'm not there
Like I'm lonely soul
They don't know I'm depressed
And it's been 4 years
Isn't that pathetic
I'm their daughter
Shouldn't they know?
They never ask me how my day was
They just work around the house
Like I'm invisible to them
Like I don't matter enough
To be talked to
So after reading this
You don't want to be me for a day
Do you?
Because if you were me
You'd feel
Worthless
Lonely
and invisible
To the people
That are suppose to care

Great... But sad
I know how you are feeling... I've been there too... It's a tough spot to be stuck in... If you ever need anyone to talk to, I'm here. This is a very deep poem... Filled with raw emotion, I can actually feel your pain as I read this poem... You did a really good job... Wonderfully written! -
Excellent
I know how you feel.
After I hit a certain age, all my mom cared about was her boyfriend.
My dad and my mom got divorced when I was just 5 years old.
So, I had a pretty hard life.
I'm here to listen.
Everything will be ok.
Don't give up.
Hold your head high.
You do EXIST in this world.
Whether you know it or not.
Keep up with the great writes.
Keep on penning.
