My Little Parasite

She was nothing
But a little parasite
Taking from me anything
And everything
That she wanted

Using me
Using my body
Bleeding my heart
My soul
My blood was her life

Joyfully I gave it
Giving her all she
Could dream of
And as she took it
I smiled

Without a second thought
My life was hers to live
My lungs hers to breathe from
My blood hers to take
And I rejoiced

For such a short time
She was mine
Leeching from me all she could
But now
She is gone

For those intense moments
When I could feel her
Deep down inside
I was intoxicated with love
And now she is gone

Another chapter
Closer
Pages written in blood
She with love and longing
For the one I can never hold

She was real
I know it
Although no one else has ever seen her
They saw what she did to me
And they see the shell that she left behind

She was nothing
But a little parasite
Taking from me anything
And everything
She wanted

And yet...

I rejoiced

chilliwoman, you are right. This is something that has saddened my greatly, and yet... Things happen for a reason, correct? That is what is carrying me through this now. Thank you for your time and comments, as they are both much appreciated!

Oh this was sad. I took the meaning from it that this was a child that you didn't have the fortune to see grow. x chilli
