Remember When?

Little brother, sweet as can be,
Can you remember way back when you were three?
When we were samll,
Oh maybe about this tall?

Oh, how I remember,
Your curls that September,
Wearing my Sunday Dress,
And mom's make-up, What a mess.

The Best of all,
Was in the fall.
The leaves falling down,
We never had a frown.

For we would sit out on the stoop,
And brew our favorite leaf soup.
Then try to feed it to Mom and Dad,
They always sat it was the best they ever had.

Remember way back when I was ten?
We didn't have a care back then.
Memories they make me smile,
Lets sit and reminisce awhile.

Thank Staci - yet it made me smile. My sister and I used to 'cook' out in the back garden and give it to Mom or Dad whoever happened to be our victim at the time. Parents put up with such a lot
    Thank you for entering.
