Midnight despair, I’m drawn to the church of the Immaculate Mother
Shivering, alone on the stoop, gazing into the driving snow
A vision appears in a white light, a young girl with a golden glow
In a light gown, laughing and playing, unfazed by the weather
She seemed to float here and there with no time nor reasons
Abruptly she stops, her infinite wisdom falls on me, and silently teaches
That she’ll always be here, to guide the stars and the seasons
She’ll make the grass grow, and oceans flow to the beaches
She’s been with me forever, in fact, we are one
Like the rivers and raindrops, and rays of the sun
At that instance she vanished without a sound
But intuitively now, I see her glow all around
